The Right Room: Townhouse x Cornflake x Ward Williams Member Collaboration

A recent £500,000+ refurbishment of a super-prime townhouse in Mayfair demonstrates how relationships formed within The Luxury Property Forum translate into trusted professional partnerships.

Led by Bettina Sandner, Director of Private Residences at Townhouse, the project demanded precision, discretion and consistent alignment across all parties. From consultant appointments through to final delivery, every stage was managed with a clear focus on quality and control.

A surveyor was required as part of the brief. Bettina’s introduction to Ward Williams came through an LPF event, where an initial conversation opened a more detailed discussion around the project’s requirements. This quickly progressed beyond the room, with Ward Williams appointed shortly thereafter and becoming a valued partner throughout the works.

The audiovisual package followed a similar path. While an alternative provider had initially been proposed, a subsequent introduction to Cornflake at another LPF gathering led to further engagement. A visit to their showroom, alongside their existing relationship with the contractor, provided immediate alignment. As LPF members, there was a shared understanding of service, delivery and standards, which proved critical at this level.

The refurbishment was delivered on programme and within budget, with seamless coordination across all partners. The outcome reflects both technical expertise and the strength of the relationships behind it.

This project is a clear example of that principle in practice. Two conversations, initiated in the right environment, developed into key project partnerships. For Townhouse, it reinforces what LPF represents, a curated ecosystem where capability and culture align, and where relationships move naturally into delivery at the highest level.

This is exactly why The LPF exists. The industry doesn’t need more noise, it needs better connection.

What’s vital about this collaboration is that none of it was forced.

It came from being in the right room, with the right mix of people, and letting the conversation evolve naturally, building trust and turning into something commercial. This is how long lasting relationships are made
