Leanne's unwavering commitment to her goals serves as an inspiration to all who have the privilege of working alongside her.

Hi Leanne, so great to have you here. Please could you tell us about your proudest career moment so far?

A moment I am very proud of is passing my APC first time and becoming a member of the RICS, despite this being at a challenging time in my life. This has enabled me to progress in my career and manage an amazing team of junior construction professionals. It has led to me being able to provide leadership and inspiration to other with the hope of helping them reach their full potential and progress to pass their own APC training.

Have you faced moments of doubt in your career, and how did you overcome them?

During my early career confidence was something I struggled with. However I have come across and worked alongside some amazing professionals throughout my career who have helped to build my confidence to what it is today.

What do you think are the main challenges women face in the luxury property industry, and how can they be addressed?

At times there are still occasions and people who adopt the old fashioned opinion of construction and property being a male suited industry. However throughout my career I have only experienced this a handful of times. As a whole I think the industry is changing for the better and women in property are a lot more common. I think continuing to celebrate and praise achievements and individuals will help to encourage more women to pursue a career in this industry but also increase the confidence of those already in it..

Who has been your biggest supporter, and how have they empowered you?

My Family are my biggest support, they push me to want to be the best version of myself.

Reflecting on your journey, what advice would you give to young women starting their careers?

Believe in yourself, don't allow people to dictate your path or your career. If you want to achieve something work hard, stay focused and believe in you.

Looking ahead, what are your goals for the future?

In the future I hope to continue to progress in my career at Adair, developing my knowledge and continuing to support younger professionals. I also am thankful that I have a good work life balance and this is something I want to ensure continues.
