The LPF Spotlight - Organise Your Life

Jennifer Hodgson, Director of Organise Your Life, shares how thoughtful organisation and discreet support are becoming an essential part of modern luxury living. From seamless relocations to creating systems that bring calm to busy homes, her work sits at the intersection of lifestyle, design and functionality. In this Member Spotlight, Jennifer reflects on her journey into the industry, the realities of working with high-net-worth families, and why true luxury is about ease rather than excess. She also offers insight into the growing demand for services that quietly enhance how people live day to day. A conversation about detail, empathy and the final layer that turns a beautiful property into a truly effortless home.

What does your company do and what makes it special?

Organise Your Life is a Luxury Home Organisation company based in Warwickshire, with clients all over the UK.  We offer a specialised service designed for individuals and families who are constantly on the move. From seamless relocation support - unpacking and thoughtfully setting up your new home - to creating systems that make everyday living effortless. Our growth into a team of dedicated organisers, who are all working mothers and close friends, helps us bring a deep understanding of the daily challenges faced by modern families. Juggling children, partners, pets, and homes, our shared experiences allow us to approach every project with empathy, warmth, and absolutely no judgement.

What led you to your current position?

I spent several years living and working in London, beginning my career in the corporate sector before transitioning into the world of private households and luxury concierge services. Working closely with high-net-worth individuals, I quickly identified a growing demand for discreet home organisation and bespoke support - services many people needed, but weren’t sure where to find. After returning to Warwickshire to start a family, the time felt right to bring this vision to life. What began as a locally focused service, soon expanded organically, with clients across the Cotswolds, Manchester, Surrey and London.

Describe a typical working day in your life…

Every day of our working week is different, which we all absolutely love. In addition to relocation support, we offer wardrobe management, kitchen and pantry organisation, playroom set-ups for families, as well as life admin assistance. Our 'Resetting' service is one of our most popular bookings, helping busy families to get their houses looking picture perfect by getting everything back in the right place.

Are you currently working on any exciting projects?

This year is shaping up to be one of significant house moves. Several of our clients are nearing completion on extensive builds and renovations, all reaching their final stages in the coming months. As a result, we have a number of large-scale relocation projects on the horizon - providing end-to-end support from packing and labelling, to coordinating removals, and finally unpacking and organising each home with ease.

What has been your career highlight so far?

Over the past twelve months, we’ve had the privilege of working with some wonderful clients and within some truly beautiful homes. We’ve been entrusted with long-term projects, meaning we are now booking several weeks in advance - an important milestone and a goal we have been proud to achieve.  Luckily, we've been able to expand our team which allows us to deliver larger projects with a level of efficiency that sets us apart from traditional organisation companies.

Do you have any advice for someone looking to venture into your area of the luxury property industry?

I’m contacted weekly by people looking to start their own home organisation businesses, often asking for advice on where to begin and how to grow. My guidance is always the same: grow organically. Organisation is not something that can be taught—it’s an instinct, a mindset, and a skill that comes naturally. When it’s a genuine passion, you’re able to hit the ground running and deliver a service because you truly love the work, not because you’ve been trained to do it.

What do you love most about the luxury property industry?

What I love most about the luxury property industry is the level of thought, craftsmanship, and attention to detail that goes into creating beautiful homes.  What truly elevates them however, is how they function day to day. Being part of the final stage - where spaces are refined, systems are put in place, and a property becomes a calm, effortless home - is incredibly rewarding. It’s about enhancing not just the space itself, but the lifestyle it’s designed to support.

What does “luxury” mean to you?

Luxury is not about having more, but about living well.  It’s walking into a home that works beautifully for you and your family, where everything has a purpose and nothing feels overwhelming.  It’s having systems in place that quietly support your life and give you back time and headspace.  Not having to think about details, because they’ve already been considered.
