Since Anthony Clarke founded Anka back in 2008, it has quietly set a gold standard in bespoke craftsmanship, expertly navigating the art of specialist finishes, bespoke furniture, sculptures, and artworks. But as the business grew, Anka realised its brand hadn't fully caught up to the exceptional calibre of work being produced. It was time to elevate.
Enter Brand Atelier, the premium branding agency and fellow member of The Luxury Property Forum. Together, through Brand Atelier’s signature Prestige Brand programme, they set out to redefine Anka’s identity, transforming not just how the world saw Anka, but how Anka saw itself.
The journey began with deep discovery sessions that revealed subtle yet powerful truths about Anka's legacy, capabilities, and family-driven approach—nuances that were instinctive internally but not clear in their existing branding. Brand Atelier drew out hidden strengths, emphasising that Anka’s offerings went far beyond specialist finishes; their in-house expertise encompassed the full spectrum from exceptional bespoke furniture, intricate joinery to stunning sculptural and artwork commissions.
In the strategic phase, Brand Atelier zeroed in on Anka's ideal audience—high-end designers, architects, and discerning clientele. The vision was clear: cultivate a collaborative and seamless experience where creativity thrives, and every interaction impresses. Anka’s relationship-focused approach was brought to the forefront, highlighting their commitment to harmonious partnerships.
The identity refinement was sensitive yet bold. Recognising the emotional equity held within Anka's original mark, Brand Atelier simplified and elevated it. The refreshed emblem thoughtfully captures Anthony’s legacy—the negative space subtly forms a capstone, symbolising his foundation, while the wings represent his twin sons, Harry and Toby, who now lead Anka. The new wordmark uses an elegant yet impactful serif typeface paired with a timeless palette of rich classic blues, warm creams, and soft gold—understated luxury at its best.
Brand Atelier meticulously redesigned every brand touchpoint, from the tailored stitching on team apparel to refined invoices, ensuring each element echoed the new identity. Collaborating with digital experts and fellow LPF Members Space Galleon, Anka’s website now offers a polished, intuitive user experience that beautifully showcases their expanded capabilities and their authentic family values.
Today, Anka steps confidently into this exciting new chapter. With an identity that truly reflects their calibre, heritage, and ambition, Anka can proudly continue its journey, setting new benchmarks in luxury craftsmanship.
